A lot has changed since Chris made the last post back in on the 19th of November 2007.
I decided to relaunch the site now as a fresh start, all the old posts can still be accessed in the archive (after a long sleepless night) but you can no longer post in them as it wouldn't make sense to bump topics from 2 years ago with outdated discussion... feel free to create new topics in the new forums and provide a link them back to the old topic if you wish to continue discussion.
As you will notice the forum is completely different from the last time you used it. Everything has been upgraded and offers you many more features, if you need help with anything feel free to post in Member support, questions and ideas.
I hope you will like the idea of Loud Opinions being relaunched, I know some of the original members are soon to separate, some to uni and some on gap years etc, so having a forum here with you would be a nice addition to be able to have proper discussions, rather than getting bored with facebook quizzes and telling people you're on the loo on twitter
.One of the new features is linking your account to Facebook. I will post an announcement describing how to set this up.
Linking your account allows you to log in to Loud Opinions without typing your username and password, you can simply log in using your Facebook log in. You also have the option to sync your photo, avatar and your status with your Facebook account. Loud Opinions does not post anything back to Facebook at this time, so don't worry about notifications being posted on your Facebook from Loud Opinions.
When you log in please make sure you log in with your old username and password. (Do not make a new account as you are not allowed to have more than one account)
I understand you may have forgotten these details, but don't worry, there's some easy solutions!
Make sure you don't keep trying incorrect passwords as this will make it look like you're trying to break in and your account will be locked for 15 minutes.
If you have forgotten your password: Click the I've forgotten my password link, or click here. We will then instantly email you a random password which you can use to log in, once you're in you can change your password to what you like, if you don't recieve this email due to your email address being incorrect the only option is to contact me which you can do by using the various methods shown on Planet Acres, click here to contact me.
If you've forgotten your username: Check the members list to find yourself, your username could be the same as your display name. If it's not the same as your display name the only option is to contact me which you can do by using the various methods shown on Planet Acres, click here to contact me.
If you've forgotten both, try and work out your user name then try and log in, if you can't work it out the only option is to contact me which you can do by using the various methods shown on Planet Acres, click here to contact me.
All member passwords are encrypted which means I can't tell you your password, only reset it, so if you have forgotten your password you will never know what it was.
I am made aware of all log in errors for security reasons, so if it looks like you're having trouble logging in and you don't successfully log in or contact me I may contact you to ask if you're having problems.
